The DIX is the microscope/bottom portion of SPOT Imaging Solutions DD**IXC adapters. The DIX accepts SPOT Imaging Solutions D10NLC, DD63NLC, DD50NLC, or DD12NLC adapters and allows them to mate to the following microscopes:

Olympus IX sideports
Olympus IX trinocular head photoports
