The DE12ZPT adapter couples digital SLR and other large sensor format cameras to Zeiss Primo series microscopes. Its 1.2X magnification is designed to provide a wide field of view for digital SLR cameras with 4/3" format sensors, so it supports sensors up to a diagonal of 26 mm without vignetting. Digital SLR cameras that utilize the 4/3" sensor format include Olympus E series cameras.

The DE12ZPT can also be used with smaller (1/2", 2/3" or 1" format) sensors to add more magnification to the imaging system.

This adapter is compatible with the following microscopes:

Zeiss Primo Star
Zeiss Primo Vert
