Cooled Color AND Monochrome Camera for Research

This camera is designed to provide low light qualitative and quantitative fluorescence image capture together in one unit. The camera utilizes a 2 Mp CCD sensor that can be used to capture low noise, high sensitivity images in monochrome. A color filter can be slid into the light path in front of the sensor to capture color images when desired.

Applications range from high resolution color brightfield to low light monochrome quantitative image capture.

This package includes the following components:

This camera package was used for some internal demonstrations and has some minor cosmetic damage but functions as if brand new. You can return the camera package within 14 days for a full refund if not satisfied. The camera package also comes with a 90 day service warranty. The only additional item required to get started imaging with the camera is a coupler for your microscope. Please review the Suggested Accessories tab for information about those.

SPOT Software

The RT Slider cameras come with SPOT Basic software included at no additional charge. The SPOT Basic application enables microscopists to create publication-quality pictures easily. The live image preview window is ideal for panning through slides and for fine focusing. Acquiring flawless images is as effortless as a single mouse click. After image capture, measurements, calibration marks, and other enhancements can be applied. Images can be dropped into a SPOT report for printing, or saved in several different file formats for future distribution. The SPOT Basic application provides all of the necessary tools for most imaging applications.

SPOT Advanced Software

For users that would like even more imaging tools, the Idea cameras are also compatible with the SPOT Advanced software, which includes macro scripting for automating routine tasks, custom taskbars for commonly used functions, image merging, and pre-configured image setups.

Microscope Adapters

You will need an F-mount adapter to mate the RT Slider camera to your microscope. A 1.0x magnification F-mount adapter will provide a wide field of view.
