The SPOT RT3 Slider digital camera is excellent for brightfield and fluorescence imaging applications. The RT3 Slider is the newest camera version from the popular RT line of cameras, and delivers improved performance in a number of areas.  The RT3 Slider camera offers 14-bit high speed data readout and user-friendly Firewire connectivity.  It delivers exceptional color images when the color filter is in the light path.  When the signal is dim, the color filter can be moved out of the light path to increase the sensitivity. The RT3 Slider digital system has very low read noise which provides higher dynamic range when combined with the deep pixel wells of its Kodak KAI 2020-M CCD. Frame capture rates have been tripled when compared with its predecessor.

 

This is a complete package including the SPOT RT3 Slider camera head, Firewire cable, power supply, power supply cable, and SPOT Basic software. The only additional items required to get started imaging with the camera are a coupler for your microscope and a Firewire adapter card, if you don't have a Firewire port on your computer.
