DD20NLT 2.0X Digital SLR/Large Format Camera Coupler for Nikon, Leica, Leitz and Wild Microscopes with 38 mm Photoport
DD20NLT 2.0 X Digital SLR/Large Format Camera Coupler for Nikon, Leica, Leitz and Wild Microscopes with 38 mm Photoport

The DD20NLT coupler adapts digital SLR and other large sensor format cameras to Nikon, Leica and Wild microscopes that have a 38 mm photoport. Its 2.0x magnification is designed to provide a wide field of view for digital SLR cameras with APS-C and APS-H format sensors, and it can be used with sensors up to 41 mm in diagonal without vignetting. Digital SLR cameras that utilize the APS-C and APS-H sensor formats include the Canon EOS Rebel, Canon EOS 50D, Canon EOS 60D, Canon EOS 7D, Canon EOS 1D Mark III, Fujifilm Pro series, some Sony Alpha series, and Samsung series digital SLR cameras. It is also compatible with the Foveon X3 sensor in the Sigma SLRs and the Nikon DX sensor in the Nikon DX series SLRs.

Cameras that utilize the full frame APS-F format sensor like the Nikon FX, Canon EOS 1Ds Mark III, Canon 5D Mark II, and some Sony Alpha series can be used with the DD20NLT with minimal vignetting. See http://www.diaginc.com/accessories/coupler/fov.htm for field of view diagrams illustrating this. This amount of vignetting can be cropped out of the image without losing a significant amount of the field of view. The DD20NLT can also be used with smaller (1/2", 2/3", or 1" format) sensors to add more magnification to the imaging system.

The top of the DD20NLT accepts a standard T mount adapter, so virtually any camera can be adapted to it. Please add the appropriate T-mount adapter for your camera to your cart if you don't have one - this is a required component.

The bottom portion of the DD20NLT was designed for the following microscopes:
  • Nikon Eclipse E200, E400, E600 with Y-T TV tube
  • Nikon Eclipse E800, E1000 (with video tube for C-mount)
